The Pillar of the Family

 

     

        Father’s Day is not a federal holiday but it is a significant occasion to honor their fatherhood, paternal bonds and their influence in society. It is a very special day to acknowledge and give thanks for their sacrifices, and outmost love and respect. It is celebrated annually on the third Sunday of the month June.

 

    Fathers have an important role in family and society. They stand as a pillar for the family, on whom all the family members can rely. They are responsible in making up the lives of the family. Fathers are the strength, protector, provider and disciplinarian of the family. We should thank them for raising us, giving us good life and education. We cannot explain in words on how much they’ve done for us. A typical father’s day is just posting about them on social media, giving gifts , preparing a family dinner date. And this is not enough. We must appreciate them everyday throughout the year. We should show them everyday that we are very grateful for them being our father. That we wake up every morning with immense gratitude towards them for providing us a happy life that we are living.

 

On this very special day, we should at least make them feel that we appreciate their patience and hardwork and that we love them so much. A simple hug or just greet them a “Happy Father’s Day.” would make them very happy. Once again, Happy Father’s Day to the pillar of the family.
