Philippines' Resiliency, is the Key to Filipinos' Safety
Resiliency is
one quality that marks the Filipino people in the world. We are known to be
patient, accustomed to hardship, willing to sacrifice and does not easily give
up in every trials.
Living in a
country that is visited by many typhoons and earthquakes every year, resilience is
one of our traits. We may feel sadness, fear, anxiety in every disaster, we
still choose to be strong, find solutions, work together and rise again. We
need humanitarian responses and strengthening resilience. We cannot prevent or
predict natural disasters, it can happen anytime and anywhere. We should make
some move so that we are prepared financially when disasters do occur. Filipinos
need good governance to promote disaster awareness and reduction. Life is
important so we need to create a place to make our lives better.
I believe we can sustain this, the
challenges are still there but we need to cooperate and work together. With all
that calamities and disasters we’ve been through, do we have to give up now? We
must show the bayanihan spirit and unite as one. Especially now in the midst of
Covid-19 pandemic, we must never give up and move forward for the future.

I liked how you wrote that Filipinos need good governance and we must show the bayanihan spirit where we Filipinos work hand-in-hand, will never give up and will be strong enough to fight any challenges in life like this ongoing pandemic.
ReplyDeleteI love the way how you portray us Filipinos. It is true that we are resilient, especially when various calamities come our way. You are right, our government needs to be improved in order to create a better and substantial country.
ReplyDeleteHello Lujille! It is heartwarming how you describe us Filipinos in your blog. Indeed Filipinos are resilient and strong in times of hardship and it is just that the government should also be as resilient as how you describe Filipinos to be. I agree that natural calamities cannot be predicted and prevented but we could be prepared by uniting or showing the “bayanihan spirit” and the government investing for the resiliency of our country.
